Surfaces/Panels
For short studies and even longer (multiple session) studies I like to use a good quality canvas board. Sizes can be anywhere between 8" x 10" and 12" x 16" or square shapes. I like Centurion Oil primed linen canvas board. I like MDF boards for painting too. Bring at least 2 surfaces to paint on for every class, no matter what the size you choose.
Palette
This can be glass (my preference) or wood. It also should have plenty of room for mixing and you should have something that scrapes it clean.
Brushes
I use brushes from Rosemary & Co .
Bring an assortment of sizes from small to large. An extra large or chip brush from the hardware store for toning can
