Charles (Brandy) Brandenburg studied at the Famous Artist School of Westport, Connecticut. His appreciation of fine arts led him to study with Arthur Maynard and Allan Avery at the Ridgewood Art Institute in oils and watercolor.
Primarily a landscape painter, his love of marine subjects brought him to study with Robert C. Gruppe of Cape Ann, Massachusetts for over 20 years. The effect of light and atmosphere on the subject is what he paints for all to behold.
Mr. Brandenburg is a member of the American Artist Professional League of New York and New Jersey, New Jersey Watercolor Society, North Shore Art Association of Cape Ann, Massachusetts, North East Watercolor Society and Life member of the Ridgewood Art Institute.
He exhibits at the Oritani Savings & Loan of Ho-Ho-Kus, Washington Twp. and Woodcliff Lake. Also the Salmagundi Art Club of New York, Hudson Valley Art Association, North Shore Art Association, Mystic Seaport Maritime Gallery, American Artist Professional League of New York and New Jersey, New Jersey Watercolor & North East Watercolor Exhibitions.
Collections include Trump Plaza Resorts, Perillo Tours Inc., American Broadcasting Co., C.P.C. International, Global Shop Inc. Society of Free Masons and many private collections.
